Joining the study is entirely up to you, before you decide we would like you to understand why the research is being done and what it would involve for you. One of our team will go through this information sheet with you, to help you decide whether or not you would like to take part and answer any questions you may have. It explains the tests involved. Knowing what is involved will help you decide if you want to take part in the research. \nPlease read this information carefully. Ask questions about anything that you don’t understand or want to know more about. Before deciding whether or not to take part, you might want to talk about it with a relative or friend. \nParticipation in this research is voluntary. The disease generally does not present symptoms early as it affects the side-vision or visual field first. \nCurrent standard visual field testing machines such as a Humphrey visual field machine are not easily portable and come at a high cost. The Apple iPad however is a popular consumer technology that is portable, relatively low cost and has a high quality screen suitable for vision testing. \nAs part of the treatment of your eye condition you might have had visual field testing on a Humphrey visual field machine, where you are required to keep your eye focused on a point in the center and respond to a white spot shine","cbCaiqn5NZlfvYuk","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiqn5NZlfvYuk","pdf",276415,"English","# Invitation and Summary\n# What is involved in this study?\n## What is the purpose of the Study?\n## Why have I been invited?\n## Do I have to take part?\n## What will happen to me if I take part?","[{\"question\":\"What is the purpose of the study?\",\"answer\":\"The study aims to compare visual field testing using an Apple iPad against the Humphrey visual field machine over a six-month period for glaucoma patients.\"},{\"question\":\"Why have I been invited to participate?\",\"answer\":\"You may have been invited because you have high eye pressure or open angle glaucoma, or you may be invited as a control subject.\"},{\"question\":\"Do I have to take part, and can I withdraw?\",\"answer\":\"Participation is voluntary.
