This addendum also provides the slides (Attachment A) and attendance record (Attachment B) for the presubmittal meeting. Unless noted below, the requirements contained in the original documents and addenda issued to date, will remain in full effect. This Addendum contains 2 pages, Attachment A contains 19 pages, and Attachment B contains 1 page. \n1. Modifications \na. Amend the section “Request for Proposal (RFP)” on page 3 of the RFP to read Request for Proposal (RFP) from the qualified firm to provide On-Call and Emergency Repair Services for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, overhead door maintenance, and fencing trades for a duration of three years. \n2. Questions \na. Where can we submit the application? \nYou can email directly to Ben Mason, [at](at Ben.Mason@durhamnc.gov)[ ](at Ben.Mason@durhamnc.gov)[Ben.Mason@durhamnc.gov](at Ben.Mason@durhamnc.gov). \nb. Can you please confirm the page limit for proposals? \nThe page limit is 20 pages, excluding the cover, cover letter, UBE forms, goods and services forms, and pricing proposal forms. \nc. Could you clarify what is needed to be stated in the section 270 “Cover Letter”? I understand the statements requested, but in section 260 “Contents of Proposal” / \n3. Team Qualifications asked for contradicting information. It seems like Team Qualifications should be its own page, but it reads to put them in the cover letter. \nIn the cover letter, please include the trade areas for which you are submitting the proposal. If there is a relevant license for the company as a whole, please include this in the cover letter as well. Individual and team qualifications and licenses can be in a separate section in the body of the proposal. \nd. On Page 5 – Section 40.A.1. What type of tanks are included? Are these fuel tanks or compressed air tanks? \nYes, this could include fuel or compressed air tanks. It could also include other \ncommon tanks at water treatment plants such as chemical storage tanks, finished treated water tanks, aeration tanks, sedimentation tanks, equalization tanks. \ne. On Page 6 – Section 40. B.2.a. We can provide past projects for reference, but we may not be able to provide customer names or site names. This could be a confilct with other customers’ terms and conditions. Will this be sufficient? \nInclusion of customer names and reference information would be preferred, but DWM understands if that is against the terms and conditions. Please include what information you can. \nf. We will need to clarify what falls under the scope of “Electrical Repair Services.”Will we be able to write in our own scope and further define this category? \nDWM will work with the selected contractors to define a specific scope of work when a new on-call project arises. The types of work that a contractor is qualified to perform should be included in the proposal. This list of work can be added to the Governing Agreement as an exhibit. \ng. Will Payment and Performance Bonds always be required for electrical service contracts? \nThe requirement of bonds will be determined on a project by project basis as an On-Call project arises. \nh. Our standard warranty terms are 12 months for parts and materials, 90 days for labor. Can we write this in for clarification? \nPlease include this information in your proposal as outlined in Section 270 – Cover Letter. Contract changes or negotiations will be discussed with the selected contractors. \ni. Can we take exception the “work of others” statement in Exhibit A Section 8.2.a. iv? We will correct any deficiencies by a subcontractor working under us on any of our projects","cbCairdoVJGMuMX9","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCairdoVJGMuMX9","pdf",858360,25,"English","# Addendum Information\n## Modifications\n## Questions and Clarifications","[{\"question\":\"What does Addendum No. 1 change in the RFP scope?\",\"answer\":\"It amends the RFP section to require qualified firms to provide on-call and emergency repair services for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, overhead door maintenance, and fencing trades for a three-year duration.\"},{\"question\":\"What is the proposal page limit and what is excluded?\",\"answer\":\"The page limit is 20 pages, excluding the cover, cover letter, UBE forms, goods and services forms, and pricing proposal forms.\"},{\"question\":\"Do proposers need to attend the pre-submittal meeting to submit a proposal?\",\"answer\":\"No. The pre-submittal meeting is not a requirement to submit a proposal, and proposers must acknowledge the addendum in the required cover letter statement.\"}]","On-Call Repair and Emergency Services - Addendum No. 1 - Request for Proposals | PDF",1789302373,9]
