Brief and occasional personal use of the e-mail system is acceptable as long as it is not excessive or inappropriate, occurs only during personal time (lunch or other breaks), and does not interfere with the person’s job responsibilities. Employees should be aware that e-mail is not considered private and is the property of the Diocese of Gary. \nThe Diocese of Gary strives to maintain a workplace free of harassment and sensitive to the diversity of its employees.
