This position will also contribute to areas of clinical research that will have a direct impact on the quality delivery of patient care, serve as faculty teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and provide faculty service to the department and the profession.  \nJob Duties/Responsibilities:  \n1. Clinical Patient Care‐80% time  \na. Provide direct patient care in outpatient clinical settings (locations attached)  \nb. Take assigned GYN and OB call as per department guidelines  \nc. Develop and enhance family planning clinical services at Palmetto Health Richland  \nd. Participate in committees and community outreach within USC School of Medicine and through Palmetto Health Richland (teaching hospital for USC SOM)  \ne. Part‐time clinical work at the local Planned Parenthood teaching residents is an option.  \n2. Clinical Teaching‐10% time  \na. Develop a family planning curriculum for resident education  \nb. Provide electives for medical students or interdisciplinary residents desiring to rotate through the Family Planning service  \nc. Supervise and teach residents and fellows while in training, working with the residency program director to meet requirements for the OBG Residency Program  \nd. Be available for supervision for resident call experiences when on inpatient service  \n3. Administrative Time‐ 10% time  \na. Observation and adherence to practice plan activities  \nb. Timely completion of required patient documentation in Electronic Medical Record system  \nc. Participation and development of research and educational information for the purpose of staff/colleagues/mentors or peers education at the  \nd. Participation /membership in professional organizations or committees  \ne. Regular and ongoing collaboration with Department Chair  \nf.
