It is based on functional and aesthetic properties of the bulb in accordance to the lamp design such as shape, size and light colour temperature as well as more technical aspects regarding light quality and power, life-time and accessability. Choose the right bulb—create the right mood! For more information please contact us at post@northernlighting.no \nSome words about light \nWatt (W) \nWatt is the measuring unit of energy consumption, but it does not tell how much light the bulb produces. A 100W regular incandescent bulb gives more or less the same amount of light as a 20W energy saving bulb, but the power consumption is di􀀞erent. \nLumen (lm) \nLumen is the measuring unit of the total amount of light given from the lightbulb in all directions. It does not imply anything about energy consumption. \nKelvin (K) \ne light colour is measured in Kelvin. A halogen bulb usually has a colour temperature of 2700 Kelvin (warm colour) . See chart below for a graphic overview. \nCandela (cd) \nCandela is the measuring unit of the amount of light given from the lightbulb in a speci􀀝c direction. Only spot bulbs with re􀀜ectors or LED bulbs use this unit. \nSocket types \nWe only use four di􀀞erent standard socket types in our lamps. is makes it easy to 􀀝nd the right replacement bulb. \n8000 K \n7000 K \n6000 K \n5000 K \n4000 K \n3000 K \n2000 K \n1000 K \nbulb guide 2016 \nNorthern Lighting Light bulb guide 2017 \nPRODUCT NAME \nSOCKET \nLIGHT SOURCE-TYPE \nLIGHT SOURCE-NAME \nPRODUCER \nWATTAGE \nLUMEN (lm)/ CANDELA (cd) \nKELVIN \nDIMMABLE \nSIZE \n(DIAMETER x LENGTH) \nENERGY CLASS \n| Above | E27 (x2/x3) LED | Classic A60-LG7207d | Megaman | 7W | 470 lm | 2800 K | Yes | 60 x 114 mm. | A+ |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n\nAcorn \nE27 LED \nClassic A65-LG7813d \nMegaman \n13W \n1055 lm \n2800 K \nYes \n65 x 125 mm. \nA+ \nLED \nIncandaLED LG4106dCS \nMegaman \n6W \n470 lm \n2800 K \nYes \n55 x 104 mm. \nA+ \nBake me a cake E27 LED Filament LED-50211 Vintage Segula 3.5W 200 lm 2200 K Yes 47 x 88 mm.
