Mo4on carried.  \nKris4n gave the Secretary’s Report and read the minutes of the November 1st mee4ng. Cassie made amo4on to approve the minutes, Cheryl seconded. Mo4on carried.  \nRex gave the Treasurer’s Report. November expenses were $827.50 for pulpit supply. December Expenses were $662.00 for pulpit supply, $192.50 for the Giving Tree, and $81.50 for quarterly devo4onals. January Expenses are $173.99 for bap4smal supplies and $1,230 for the ELCA Na4onal Youth Conven4on. Kris4n made a mo4on to approve the Treasurer’s Report, Kari seconded. Mo4on carried.  \nOld Business  \nCall CommiHee: If Sherri accepts the posi4on as minister, the Call CommiHee will end the call for both churches.  \nLent 2024 was discussed. Ash Wednesday will be on Wednesday, February 14th at 6:30 PM at Garden. The Bible Study will be “He Chose the Cross”. Star4ng on February 21st we will have soup and sandwiches at 6:00 PM followed by a 6:30 service. During Lent there will not be Sunday Fellowship acer church. A sign-up sheet for the soup and sandwiches will be made.  \nInvestment Op4ons: We will table this discussion for right now.  \nParish CommiHee Updates:  \n• Worship CommiHee: Toni Auen will now serve on Worship CommiHee. No other updates.  \n• Fellowship CommiHee: Upcoming sourdough class. They are working on Feed My Starving Children. Kris4n Rhone and Toni Auen are now on Fellowship CommiHee.  \n• NewsleHer CommiHee: No update.  \nConfirma4on: We really need people to sign-up to help teach Confirma4on.  \nFiling of Tax 941 Form: We discussed who would fill this out and it was decided on that the Treasurer will complete.  \nNew Business  \nA Banks Church update was given by Rex. WIFI has been installed. At their Annual Mee4ng Banks voted to end their call with the Synod and pursue Sherri as our minister. Rex discussed that they talked about extending their parking lot and adding ligh4ng.  \nA Garden Church update was given by Kris4n. Their Annual Mee4ng was also held and they too voted to end their call if Sherri accepts the minister posi4on through the Parish. Garden also discussed that they voted to only have Communion on the 3rd Sunday of each month and not have it every Sunday.  \nElec4ons of Officers were held.  \nNomina4ons for President were Zane, Cassie, and Rex. A vote was taken and with 5 votes Rex was elected our new Parish President. Cassie was nominated to serve as our Vice President, the vote was unanimous; Cassie will now serve as our Vice President. Kris4n was nominated to remain the Parish Secretary, vo4ng was unanimous; Kris4n will remain Parish Secretary. Zane was nominated as Treasurer, vo4ng was unanimous; Zane will now serve as Parish Treasurer.  \nOffering during VBS and during the Christmas program was voted on at both Annual Mee4ngs, so on those dates all offering will go to the Sunday School.  \nCommunion will now be held 3 4mes a month. Twice at Banks and once at Garden.  \nThe importance of comple4ng the Roll Call was also discussed at both Annual Mee4ngs. This past year Banks went up 3% and Garden went down 3% . Current church percentage for contribu4ng to the Parishis Banks at 68% and Garden at 32% .  \nIt was discussed that Sherri will be going through Seminary.  \nThe Parish Budget went to both congrega4ons at their Annual Mee4ngs and was approved by both churches. A mo4on was made by Kris4n to adopt the 2024 Parish Budget, Cassie seconded. Mo4on passed.  \nDiscussion was had about making Sherri an offer of employment.
