Due to current limitations in the SmartCare EHR system, a manual process for tracking and reporting NOABDs is required. Programs must use the NOABD Tracking Log template provided by QA, completing all necessary fields. If no NOABDs were issued in a given quarter, programs should fill out the top section of the log and check the designated box. Logs are due to QA quarterly by the 15th of the month following the end of the quarter, with specific deadlines for each quarter. Only electronic Excel versions of the tracking log will be accepted; handwritten or PDF logs will be returned. Submissions must be sent to qimatters.hhsa@sdcounty.ca.gov. Due to the presence of Personally Identifiable Information (PII), logs must be encrypted unless the program is on the County Transport Layer Security (TLS) secure email list. Submissions without proper encryption from programs not on the TLS list will necessitate a Privacy Incident Report.
