My name is Theresa MacDowell, and I have the privilege of serving as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for NH Art Association. Outside of NHAA, I also serve as a Portsmouth Arts & Cultural Commissioner, where I chair the Communications Workgroup. It is an honor to support our city’s creative community from multiple angles, through policy, storytelling, and hands-on organizational leadership, and I’ m thrilled to continue to bring that perspective to NHAA during such an important moment of growth. \nBefore anything else, I want to extend a heartfelt congratulations to all the artists featured in Biennial 2. This exhibition has been a remarkable showcase of talent, craft, and vision. Every piece in the show contributes to a collective story about where New Hampshire art is today and where it is going. As we celebrated the close of the exhibition at the end of November, I hope you’ ll join me in celebrating the artists who made it so special. \nLooking ahead to 2026, the Board is excited to deepen and strengthen the foundation of NHAA. Weare preparing to work on a new five year strategic plan that will guide our mission and growth aspirations. We’ re also continuing to work hard on selling our CDFA tax credits, which will open the door to significant investment in our galleries, programs, and artists. And at the heart of it all, weremain committed to supporting the artists of New Hampshire, expanding opportunities, and raising the resources needed to ensure this organization remains a cornerstone of the state’s cultural life. I’d also love the chance to get to know you, hear your ideas, and connect in person. \nHere are a few upcoming opportunities to meet me: \n First Friday Opening – December 5, 5PM-8PM \n Join us for our final First Friday of the year. I’ ll be there throughout the evening, and I hope you’ ll come say hello. \n DNNR – December 10 \n A first for us, an intimate dinner club gathering, and if you’ re lucky, you might end up at my table. Use this link to secure your spot, [https://nhartassociation.dnnr.io/](https://nhartassociation.dnnr.io/) \n NHAA Members & Friends Holiday Party – December 13, 1PM-4PM \n One of our most joyful annual traditions. Let’s celebrate our artists, our community, and a beautiful year ahead. \nThere is so much to look forward to as we continue building a vibrant, artist-centered future for NHAA and the Seacoast. Please stay tuned for more Board updates, community conversations, and ways to get involved in 2026. \nHere’s to the next 85 years, \nTheresa MacDowell \n[theresa@nhartassociation.org](theresa@nhartassociation.org)","cbCaimaCSd5UNEVb","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaimaCSd5UNEVb","pdf",576398,"English","# Welcome and Year-End Message\n# Biennial 2 Congratulations\n# Looking Ahead to 2026\n## Strategic Plan and CDFA Tax Credits\n# Upcoming Opportunities to Meet the Board","[{\"question\":\"Who is the newsletter written by, and what is their role at NHAA?\",\"answer\":\"The newsletter is written by Theresa MacDowell, Vice President of the NH Art Association Board of Directors.\"},{\"question\":\"What is being planned for 2026?\",\"answer\":\"The Board plans to develop a new five-year strategic plan and continue working on selling CDFA tax credits to support NHAA’s galleries, programs, and artists.\"},{\"question\":\"What upcoming events are listed to meet Theresa MacDowell?\",\"answer\":\"The newsletter lists First Friday Opening (December 5), DNNR dinner club (December 10), and the NHAA Members \\u0026 Friends Holiday Party (December 13).\"}]","NHAA Board Newsletter - December 2025 | PDF",1789282856]
