I currently work as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Immunology, Infectious, and Rare Diseases at the International European University in Kyiv. In addition to my academic role, I practice medicine at Kyiv Children’s Hospital \\#1 . Since 2016, I have also had the privilege of serving as the Executive Director of the Ukrainian Association of Pediatric Immunology.  \nI am writing to express my candidacy for the position of ESID Secretary for the 2024–2028 term. I have carefully reviewed the responsibilities associated with this role, which include collaborating with the Executive Board to draft business plans, organizing board meetings, preparing agendas, maintaining and circulating meeting minutes, following up on reports for General Assembly meetings, and disseminating agendas and minutes to members through the ESID Newsletter and website.  \nI am confident that my education, experience, and skills have prepared me well to fulfill these duties. I am eager to contribute to the ESID community over the next four years. I fully understand and accept the responsibilities of this role and am prepared to begin this work with dedication and enthusiasm. My strong communication skills enable me to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues worldwide. I am also quick to learn new skills, adapt to changing circumstances, and find appropriate solutions, all while being highly results oriented.  \nI am passionate about working in an international environment, collaborating with colleagues from different countries, and embracing the opportunity to travel as part of my professional life. In addition to my native Ukrainian, I am fluent in French, English, and Russian, and I am currently starting to learn German.  \nAlthough I have only recently joined ESID, I am deeply familiar with the organization and its mission. I regularly apply ESID guidelines and recommendations in my daily practice and actively contribute to the advancement of clinical immunology in Ukraine, both as a university teacher and through my work with the Ukrainian Association of Pediatric Immunology. The values of ESID closely align with my own, both personally and professionally.  \nMy primary professional interest lies in inborn errors of immunity, particularly autoinflammatory diseases.
