There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:\u003Cbr>a. Undertake new patient health checks.\u003Cbr>b. Support the practice team with health promotion programmes.\u003Cbr>c. Carry out baseline observations such as pulse oximetry, blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate, recording findings accurately. Record BMI information.\u003Cbr>d. Facilitate routine cardiac monitoring, advising patients accordingly.\u003Cbr>e. Undertake wound care, dressings and other clinical tasks as required.\u003Cbr>f. Support the practice team with the management of chronic disease clinics.\u003Cbr>g. Act as a chaperone as required.\u003Cbr>h. Venepuncture (training will be provided if required) .\u003Cbr>i. Administering of immunisations/injections-within scope (e.g. , Flu/B12, training will be provided if required) .\u003Cbr>j. Carry out ECGs as requested.\u003Cbr>k. Ensure all clinical rooms are adequately stocked and prepared for each session.\u003Cbr>n. Ensure fridges are performing correctly in accordance with guidance.\u003Cbr>o. Ensure clinical waste is removed from clinical areas and sharps bins replaced in accordance with the organisation’s IPC policy.\u003Cbr>p. Deliver opportunistic health promotion and advice where appropriate. E.g. , Signpost to stop smoking services.\u003Cbr>q. Complete INR clinics with the Physician Associates.\u003Cbr>r.
