Low-resolution images produce blurry, pixelated print results. High-resolution graphics will look sharp and crystal clear.  \n360 DPI (dots per inch) is the most desirable resolution. Confirm that your images, including your logo, are 360 DPI, and not less than 180 DPI.  \nHere is an example of what a portion of the Moneris image looks like at different resolutions.  \n72 DPI 180 DPI 360 DPI  \n􀂅 Ensure your logo has a transparent background  \nConsider what your logo will look like when placed over the background image or background colour of your gift card. A logo with full transparency will assume the background behind it and is the best option.  \nHere is what a logo will look like when it is transparent and when it is not:  \nTransparent  \nNot transparent  \n􀂅 Consider placing your logo over a shape  \nIf you’re having challenges getting a crisp transparent background – or – if you’re looking for an easy way to enhance the visual appeal of your logo, consider using a logo/text placement shape.
