Approve appropriation of $1,250 in Revenue Sharing monies to the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, Installation & Awards Dinner as requested by Supervisor Holmes ($500), Supervisor Jones ($250), and Supervisor Gustafson ($500) .  \nBACKGROUND  \nIn approving the following contributions, the Placer County Board of Supervisors finds that each and every approved contribution serves a public purpose by promoting the general welfare of the County and its inhabitants, therefore a benefit results to the County.  \nThe Board of Supervisors is being asked to approve appropriations to the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, Installation & Awards Dinner. The mission of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce is to support prosperity, business opportunity, and community in beautiful Auburn. The Auburn Chamber Installation & Awards Dinner is an annual event where new Board Members and Executive Board Members are installed and Membership Awards are presented. Revenue Sharing contributions will be used to help offset the costs of the event, including venue rental and food.
