The job is varied and interesting with lots of opportunity for future career growth.  \nMECHANICAL ENGINEERING – PRODUCT ENGINEERING  \nKey Responsibilities:  \n􀁸 Design, source and test hardware components used in lithium ion cell.  \n􀁸 Develop and execute test plans for the evaluation of new and/or improved components.  \n􀁸 Design and troubleshoot testing equipment used for evaluating lithium ion cell components.  \n􀁸 Develop and monitor written operating and test procedures.  \n􀁸 Utilize creative thinking and sound engineering judgment in product design and production process optimization.  \n􀁸 Participate in new product and process development within a team environment.  \n􀁸 Provide technical support to the manufacturing facility in Taiwan.  \nQualifications:  \n􀁸 Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an APEGBC recognized university.  \n􀁸 Registered Professional Engineer or Engineer‐in‐Training.  \n􀁸 1 – 3 years of work experience in a R&D or manufacturing environment.  \n􀁸 Applied knowledge of metal joining methods, such as ultrasonic, resistance and laser welding.  \n􀁸 Applied knowledge of metal stamping, deep drawing and plastic injection moulding.  \n􀁸 Applied knowledge of automated manufacturing and assembly processes.  \n􀁸 Familiarity with statistical analysis and Design of Experiments.  \n􀁸 Experience with 2D & 3D modeling software (eg.
