I'm Cameron \nAnd I'm Jordan, Cameron's supervisor \n“Cameron” is a 2nd year lawyer in a civil litigation firm. They are married and have a 6 month old child. They work primarily from home, but are required to work in the office at least one day per week. Cameron was diagnosed with ADHD, combined type, during law school. They've been managing well with medication until about 6 months ago. Recently they have had difficulty keeping up with billable hours, and find themselves procrastinating on projects. In their last annual review they also received feedback that co-workers and clients find them difficult to talk to sometimes, although there weren’t any specific details. This was news to Cameron and felt terrible. \nJordan manages Cameron plus two other associates and four staff people. They are concerned about Cameron's performance – they want them to do well but are also put off by Cameron's seeming lack of a sense of urgency about deadlines and apparent lack of ability to self-manage. If things don't improve, Jordan may have to start looking for someone to replace Cameron. \n12 \nUnderstanding ADHD in the Legal Profession \n13 \nIncreased job \nsatisfaction \nLonger job \ntenure \nImproved workplace \nperformance \nHelping Factors Person/Environment Fit \n• Stimulating environment \n• Both communal and quiet workspaces \n• Challenging/novel/fast paced \n• Autonomy/flexibility \nAccommodations \n• Workplace policies \n","cbCaia4sO152KjFt","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaia4sO152KjFt","pdf",22911200,43,"English","# Supporting Legal Professionals with ADHD\n## Event Details and Speakers\n## CLE Materials\n## OAAP Overview and Confidentiality\n## Understanding ADHD in the Legal Profession\n### What is ADHD?\n### ADHD Presentations\n### Diagnosis and Prevalence\n## Key Takeaways","[{\"question\":\"What is the Oregon Attorney Assistance Program (OAAP) and how does it support legal professionals?\",\"answer\":\"OAAP aims to improve the well-being of legal professionals and the profession as a whole.
