This is an opportunity to deliver a high standard of work while developing a successful career.  \nJob Description-Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  \n• Lay and bind building materials, such as brick, concrete block, and cinder block, with mortar and other substances, to construction or repair walls, partitions, arches, sewers and other structures.  \n• Measure distance from reference points and mark guidelines to lay out work, using plumb bobs and levels.  \n• Construct corners by fastening in plumb position a corner pole or building a corner pyramid of bricks and filling in between the corners using a line from corner to corner to guide each course, or layer, of brick.  \n• Apply and smooth mortar or other mixture over work surface.  \n• Calculate angles and courses and determine vertical and horizontal alignment of courses.  \n• Break or cut bricks, tiles, or blocks to size, using trowel edge, hammer, or power saw.  \n• Install masonry materials.  \n• Plan layout of construction, installation, or repairs.  \nSkill Requirements:  \n• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction of highways and roads.  \n• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.  \n• Job requires the following motions: stretching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, walking, standing, reaching and squatting.  \nAdditional Requirements:  \n• Attendance required according to company attendance policy to ensure crew can operate at normal efficiency level.  \n• Attitude/Cooperation, must always maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and public.  \n• Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes. Overtime work may be required.  \nWork Environment:  \n• Physical ability to work under temperature extremes and for extended hours of time.
