Tiger is NOT supported with this release. Support for Tiger will come in a later release.
3.0.5 now supports the Mojo, Mojo SDI, and Adrenaline on both Mac OS Leopard and Mac OS Tiger
Apple OSX /QuickTime Compatibility:
Apple designed its operating system to include the majority of hardware interface protocols. This approach has pros and cons. The benefit is that most devices are plug-n-play on the Mac. The disadvantage is that the version of the Mac OS has a much larger effect on the hardware-related applications, namely, your Media Composer. Likewise, QuickTime and its codecs are foundational to the Avid editors. Changes to the QuickTime version can have significant effects on the performance and stability of the Avid editing application.
Use the following table to determine the correct version of Mac OS & QuickTime compatible with the version of Media Composer, Symphony or Xpress Pro you are running.

|
Editor Version
|
Mac OS
|
QuickTime
|
| --- | --- | --- |
| 3.1 | 10.5.5 | 7.5.5 |
| 3.0.5 | 10.5.5/10.4.11 | 7.5.5(Leopard Only) 7.4.5 |
| 3.0 | 10.5.3 | 7.4.5 |
| 3.0.1* | 10.4.11 | 7.4.5 |
| x.8.x | 10.4.11 | 7.3 |
| x.7.7 | 10.4.10 | 7.2 |
| x.7.6 | 10.4.10 | 7.2 |
| X.7.5 | 10.4.10 | 7.2 |
| X.7.2 and X.7.3 | 10.4.9 | 7.1.3 & 7.1.6 |
| X.2.7 | 10.4.8 | 7.1.3 |
| X.6.4 and X.6.6 | 10.4.8 | 7.1.3 |
| X.2.6, X.6. 1, X.6.2, X.6.3 | 10.4.7 | 7.1.3 |
| X.5.3 | 10.4.7 | 7.1 |
| X.5, X.5. 1, X.5.2 | 10.4.6 | 7.1 |
| X.8.5 | 10.4.6 | 7.0.3 |
| X.8.2 / X.8.4 | 10.4.3 | 7.0.3 |
| X.8.1 | 10.4.2 | 7.0.3 |

Ver 1.8 Updated: 10/21/08

| X.8.0 | 10.4.2 | 7.0 |
| --- | --- | --- |
| X.6.5 | 10.3.8 & 10.3.9 | 6.5.1 |
| X.6 | 10.3.4 & 10.3.5 | 6.5.1 |

OS X: Leopard Information:
We offer full support of OSX Leopard with version 3.0 and DX Hardware.
3.0.5 Supports Legacy Hardware such as Mojo, Mojo SDI, and Adrenaline with Mac OSX Leopard as well as Mac OSX Tiger.
Minimum system requirements X.8.3 and below:
* Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerP","cbCaieuA8d5B9FEF","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaieuA8d5B9FEF","pdf",248585,25,"English","# Current Version Notes
## Apple OS X / QuickTime Compatibility
## OS X Leopard information
## Supported Computers
## Dongle Support and Information
## Troubleshooting Suggestions
## .DS_Store files and You
## DIY Information & Related Links","[{"question":"Which Media Composer and QuickTime versions are compatible according to the table?","answer":"The document provides a compatibility matrix mapping editor versions (e.g., 3.1, 3.0.5, 3.0) to specific OS X and QuickTime versions."},{"question":"Does Media Composer 3.1 support Tiger?","answer":"No. The guide states that 3.1 is ONLY supported on Leopard 10.5.5, and Tiger is not supported with this release."},{"question":"How does QuickTime version changes affect Avid editors?","answer":"The guide explains that QuickTime and its codecs are foundational to Avid editors, and changes to QuickTime can significantly impact performance and stability."}]","Mac CheatSheet - Ver 1.8.1 - Avid Support | PDF",1791948115,9]
