Chronology legal timeline of events template. Investigation timeline legal timeline of events template. \nPreparing a “chronicle” gives you the opportunity to organize your thoughts and present them coherently and logically, and gives us a factual resource to refer to throughout the case. We often use chronology in preparing a draft complaint for submission to the Court, and in preparing answers to questions posed by the defendant in the discovery. Remember that it is important to be as complete as possible “strengths and weaknesses” to allow us to provide you with the most effective representation possible. This timeline is confidential. This timeline is for your lawyers only. This, as well as anything you discuss with your attorney, is privileged by disclosure only if you do not show or share this information with anyone else. Then it is considered a waiver, which has very serious implications. Carefully keep all the information (written and verbal) you exchange with your lawyer! Put everything in place by the date it happened. If you canât remember the exact date, try writing the month and year. If you are not sure in which month something happened, try to identify if it happened before or after some other incident in the history. Identify people by their full names whenever possible, and include their job titles if you know them. If more than one company is involved, indicate the employer. If applicable, indicate the supervisory relationship that the individual has towards him. Start at the beginning when you were first hired, and include your job title and the name of your supervisor. If you were hired by a company, which was later acquired or merged with another company, provide the names of both companies and include the change of ownership in the history. Include any written or verbal reviews of the benefits you may have had. Include any ways your employer assessed how you were doing your job (e.g. achievement of sales targets, letters of criticism or congratulations, congratulations, etc. ) . Include increases or bonuses received, share options or contributions or other monetary recognition of achievement. Include special awards or awards you have earned. If you have ever been disciplined (e.g. demotion or suspension) please include details of why you were disciplined. If there was a change in the people working around you, or in the person who was your supervisor, include this, and any changes that happened as a result of this change in personnel. If you have changed jobs within your company, (a promotion or aside move) please identify your new job title and explain how you got your new job (she filled out an application form, interview, recommendation, etc. ) . Include any incident in which you believe you have been treated unfairly or differently because of your gender, race, religion or disability, or in retaliation because you complained of discriminatory treatment or sexual harassment. Be very specific about when you complain, to whom and the result. If possible, state the language used, the names and positions occupied by the persons involved and any witnesses, as well as the actions taken by anyone involved. Include any other evidence of discrimination, harassment, retaliation or violation of the law. This includes jokes or comments from supervisors or associates that were offensive to you and any behavior that was offensive to you. Describe the effects these incidents have had on your work and personal life. Be sure to include any complaints or other responses you have made about these acts. Be as detailed as possible about the events that underlie your cause (such as specific acts of harassment, or that have been discontinued) . Include a list of favourable and unfavourable. Please include each witness address, telephone numbers, covered positions and a summary of the knowledge of these witnesses.
