This category is not a mechanism to update data submitted during the general abstract submission period.  \nOnly a limited number of Late Breaking/Rapid Science Submissions will be accepted for presentation  \nat NUTRITION 2025.  \nEligibility and Details:  \n1. Submissions must not have been presented, accepted for presentation or published at any other scientific meeting or journal at the time of submission.  \n2. A submission is ineligible for consideration if preliminary data were available at the time of the January 13 general abstract submission deadline.  \n3. Do not resubmit work already submitted during the general abstract submission period.  \n4. If another abstract based on the late breaking trial/study discussed in the Late Breaking/Rapid Science submission was submitted during the general NUTRITION 2025 abstract submission process, please [contact](contact education@nutrition.org)[ ](contact education@nutrition.org)[education@nutrition.org](contact education@nutrition.org).  \n5. Submissions will be evaluated on impact of research, novelty, rigor of design and innovation.  \n6. Late Breaking/Rapid Science submissions will not be published along with NUTRITION 2025 abstractsin Current Developments in Nutrition.  \n7. Embargo Policy: All authors must read and comply with the NUTRITION 2025 embargo policy. Selected submissions are embargoed until the beginning of the first session in which they arepresented, unless otherwise specified. An embargo means that information and data pertaining to  \nthe submission may not be announced, publicized or distributed before the embargo date and time. Promotion of general topics, speakers or presentation times is allowed and encouraged as long as specific findings are not included in the announcement.  \n8. Simultaneous Journal Publication: Simultaneous publication of trials is acceptable and encouraged as long as the embargo policies of NUTRITION 2025 and the involved journals are coordinated. If atrial/study has been submitted to and accepted for publication, the presenter is responsible for ensuring that the journal editor respects ASN’s embargo policy. Publication of a trial/study in print  \nor on a journal web site prior to presentation at NUTRITION 2025 will necessitate withdrawal of the trial/study from the program.  \n9. Meeting Participation: Completion of a Late Breaking/Rapid Science submission constitutes a commitment by the presenting author to present it if selected. All abstract presentations will be given in-person only at NUTRITION 2025. Failure to present, if not justified, will jeopardize future acceptance of submissions for ASN conferences.  \n10. Registration Fee: Presenting authors associated with a Late Breaking/Rapid Science submission must register as a full-conference attendee or for a one-day pass for the meeting. The registration fee and travel costs are separate from the abstract submission fee. Authors are responsible for all travel expenses (airfare, food, hotel, etc. ) associated with presenting at the meeting. The NUTRITION 2025 Registration and Housing website will open in late January Registrations rates will be available in December.  \n11.
