It validates whether: \n1. we have a good understanding of the problems we are trying to solve \n2. we know a path forward (hypothesis, solution) \n3. we mobilised the team \n4. we have a plan \nAnd just that! This is NOT a definitive and comprehensive project documentation. \nYou donʼt need to complete the entire poster at once. As you work through each section, link off to other project artefacts, or note other plays you might run, like DACI, Experience Canvas, Trade-offs, etc. Once the project kicks off, itʼs not supposed to be updated: everything should be captured in Jira, Jira Product Discovery and Atlas. Use this as an asset for retrospectives. \nPreferably, it should be a collaborative effort from the entire team, either async or through a workshop. See instructions for running Project Poster Workshops. \nAdd cross-references to and from this page and the JPD idea, Atlas project/goal, and Jira Epic/Initiative. \n Help \nExplain why solving this problem matters to your customers and to the business. Get clear on your project goals and possible solutions. \nMost of this session should have been answered in the related JPD idea during the discovery. If thatʼs the case, you may just link it. \nTips for writing the problem statement: \n Focus on the userʼs perspective, not the business or technical side. \n Be specific and observable, avoid vague frustrations. \n Avoid jumping to solutions, stay with the problem. \n Base it on research or discovery evidence, not assumptions. \nTips for writing the hypothesis: \n Tie your hypothesis to user behavior or business impact. \n Make it testable (use clear metrics or observations) . \n Keep it specific to avoid vague results. \n Validation \n| Why are we doing this? | |\n| --- | --- |\n| What is our hypothesis to resolve the problem? | |\n| What are possible solutions? | |\n| How do we judge success? | |\n\n\n| Help |\n| --- |\n| \u003Cbr> Identify knowledge gaps and risks.
