Feel free to create your own questions and type them into the slides.\nRules\nThe game begins by the Moderating Host randomly selecting a contestant to pick the first square. Afterwards, the participant who answers the questions correctly will pick the next square.\nEach player will get a chance to buzz in and answer a question selected from any category and square with a particular point amount.\nAll “questions” are actually clues that do not have a prompt.\nIf a contestant correctly answers a question, they receive the point amount of the question. If a contestant answers incorrectly, they are penalized by the point amount of the question.\nThe contestant that raises their hand first will get a chance to answer first.\nAll answers provided by contestants must be spoken in the form of a question (i.e. “what is…”, “who is…”, etc.).\nIf they guess incorrectly, then the other contestants will raise their hand again to try to be first to provide an answer. This process continues until someone answers correctly.\nIf no one answers the question after 10 seconds, then times runs out and no one is awarded points. The Moderating Host should then provide the answer and move on to the next question.\nSetup\nOnce you have the slideshow open, share your screen in the zoom call.\nClick “more” then “share sound” (see figure below).\nClick “participants” to pull up the list of participants (see figure below). This will be used for the buzzer system.\nStep 2: Click “more” with the three dots on far right of the top bar on the screen then “share sound”\nStep 3: Click “participants”, the third icon from the left\nDrag the participants list off to the side of your screen and make it as small as possible to that it does not interfere with your screen.\nGameplay\nModerating Host explains the game rules and presents each category (addressed in Steps 6-10).\nModerating Host randomly selects contestant to go first.\nContestant chooses a category and point value.\nTechnical Host clicks on the box to reveal the question.\nContestants will “buzz” in by using the “Raise hand” function on Zoom (under the Reactions tab). The first person to raise their hand is given one opportunity to answer the clue (the person with the “raised hand” at the top of the Participants list indicates who raised their hand first).\nIf the contestant answers correctly, they win the corresponding point value. If they answer incorrectly, they lose that same value.\nIf the first contestant answers incorrectly, then they are excluded from answering again. Instead, the contestants will again get a chance to raise their hand first. This will happen one more time and if there is still no correct answer then the round ends and no points are awarded.\nIf no one answers the question after 10 seconds, then times runs out and no one is awarded points. The Moderating Host should then provide the answer and move on to the next question.\nAfter all the questions have been asked, move to the next slide by pressing the right arrow key to reach Final Jeopardy.\nThe Technical Host will share their screen to display the final scores before Final Jeo","cbCaigOraCzta96M","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaigOraCzta96M","docx",619912,7,"English","# Notes\n# Setup\n# Gameplay\n# Rules\n# Answer Key\n## Emergency Kit\n## Disaster Mitigation\n## Emergency Planning","[{\"question\":\"What is the purpose of this Jeopardy Toolkit?\",\"answer\":\"It delivers progressive FEMA preparedness information as a quiz, helping students or employees learn emergency management concepts in an engaging, educational format.\"},{\"question\":\"How do the Hosts manage the game during Zoom?\",\"answer\":\"The Moderating Host runs the game and reveals answers and final results, while the Technical Host handles the question reveal and displays final scores, using Zoom features like shared sound and the participants list for buzzing.\"},{\"question\":\"What happens when a player answers incorrectly or no one answers in time?\",\"answer\":\"An incorrect answer deducts the same point value and excludes that contestant from answering again in the round.
