Your organization will be required to provide a NYS tax exempt form or certificate with your purchase order.  \nBasis of Upgrade / Why is this work necessary?  \nDuring the 2017-2018 BPS District-Wide Project which added Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detection to all active BPS sites, the CO Detectors installed for the JCI-IFC fire alarm systems had a seven (7) year life cycle expectancy.  \nFire, Security, Communications, Sales & Service  \nOffices & Representatives in Principal Cities throughout North America  \n© 2024 Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED  \nJohnson Controls Fire Protection LP 6850 Main Street, Suite 3  \nWilliamsville , NY 14221  \nIn 2025 (7-8 years later) many of the detectors have expired or will soon expire, which causes a trouble condition on the connected Fire Alarm System. A few of the JCI-IFC schools have had their CO Detectors replaced, however 26 schools have not.  \nThis proposal provides a one-time bulk-priced lot of 304 replacement CO Detectors for the JCI fire alarm systems, which now have a had a ten  \n(10) year lifecycle expectancy.  \nThis proposal does not include JCI labor as it was recently determined that the replacement labor for these replacements are covered by the BPS-JCI Service Contract.  \nNOTE : The schools that had a Simplex Fire Alarm System at the time of the 2017-2018 project received CO detectors with a ten (10) year lifecycle expectancy. Those schools have 2-3 more years until the CO Detectors need to be replaced and not included in this proposal.  \nScope of Work:  \nJohnson Controls Fire Protection LP (\"JCFP\") proposes to provide 304 replacement CO Detectors for the JCI fire alarm systems.  \nLabor for the demo of the expired detectors, installation of the new detector, programming and testing is not included in this proposal as it was determined to be covered by the BPS-JCI Service Contract.  \nOnce BPS receives the 304 replacement CO Detectors it will be the responsibility of BPS to contact the JCI Service team to arrange for the device replacements.  \nJCFP shall warranty all new materials, installation, and workmanship for 12 months.  \nDevice counts are based on project information and JCI Fire Alarm Inspections provided annually.
