The Inventory Control Analyst ensures compliance with group purchasing agreements or master agreements; is the expert in purchasing healthcare supplies, such as surgical equipment, and instruments or equipment; coordinating reception of shipments; and storing and distributing inventory. The Inventory Control Analyst directs managers with their daily supply and purchasing needs through product research, establishing minimum and maximum quantities, maintaining physical space of the storage rooms throughout the departments of IHS, auditing spends for compliance with corporate policies, procedures, contracts, and legislative requirements.\u003Cbr>As a key first point of contact, the inventory control analyst locates and expedites orders, resolves discrepancies against purchase orders, and processes product returns, and clarifies policy and procedural requirements. The position ensures that all areas of IHS are stocked with appropriate levels of medical consumables for their operations. This position will run reports on product use, ensure rotation of products to ensure products are used before their expiry and reduce wastage. This position coordinates a central storage room as well as department specific storage spaces with inventory rotation throughout the facility.
