The analyst uses multiple global resources, works with insurance brokers, Costco corporate departments (including global Costco locations), and collects data for organizing insurance underwriting submissions. The analyst is responsible for global insurance policies, contracts, and management of certificates of insurance. The analyst supports the development, enhancement, and integrity of the Risk Management department, the company, and employees. The analyst runs complex reports, creates , and conducts training.  \nJob Duties/Essential Functions  \n● Makes decisions and uses independent judgment in determination of supplier compliance with Costco contractual insurance requirements including coverages, limits , and other requirements, based upon individual supplier risk.  \n● Uses professional knowledge and experience to read insurance policies and determines compliance with desired coverages.  \n● Utilizes analytical skill set to interpret or make deductions from varying data.  \n● Processes invoices and conducts audits.  \n● Reviews and determines appropriate compliance with incoming and outgoing Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and with Costco contractual requirements. Reviews COI’s for completeness and accuracy.  \n● Obtains insurance underwriting data from multiple global sources; organizes , and enters into spreadsheets or databases. Runs complex reports.  \n● Trains corporate departments and others on Costco insurance philosophy and requirements, including preparing training presentations and conducting group training.  \n● Assists foreign Costco regional offices with limited casualty claims management guidance when assigned.  \n● Maintains insurance policy files, both electronic and hardcopy.
