IAP Requirements | | |\n| 1.1. Incident Action Plans (IAP) are required to be developed for all emergencies. | | |\n| 1.2. A documented IAP is required for major emergencies. A range of templates is | | |\n| available in the ‘References’ section of this JSOP which may be used or | | |\n| adapted by agencies where applicable. | | |\n| 1.3. Only one IAP may be current for the control of an incident at any time. | | |\n| 1.4. The level of detail required in an IAP will depend on the stage and complexity | | |\n| of the emergency. | | |\n| 1.5. For an emergency with low potential, expected to be contained in less than | | |\n| four hours and/or of low consequence an IAP is recorded as a logbook entry, | | |\n| situation report and/or wordback, and may be either written or verbal. | | |\n| 1.6. For an emergency that is not expected to be contained within four hours of | | |\n| reporting and/or which has medium to high potential and consequence, the | | |\n| following is required: | | |\n| 1.6.1. Within four hours of the incident being reported , an IAP is required to be | | |\n| documented and is required to include the following information as a | | |\n| minimum: | | |\n| • Incident situation | | |\n| • Incident objective | | |\n| • Strategies adopted | | |\n| • Incident structure | | |\n| • Communications plan | | |\n| • Mapping | | |\n| It may also include: | | |\n| • Resources deployed | | |\n| • Key information ","cbCaivUwXPSIBjQw","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaivUwXPSIBjQw","pdf",190781,"English","# Incident Action Planning\n## IAP Requirements\n## IAP Development\n## IAP Content\n## Authorisation\n## IAP Dissemination\n## Communication of changes to IAP","[{\"question\":\"What is the purpose of the JSOP for Incident Action Planning?\",\"answer\":\"To provide guidance on developing an Incident Action Plan (IAP) so it fits the incident and clearly communicates objectives, strategies, and tactics.\"},{\"question\":\"When is a documented IAP required for major emergencies?\",\"answer\":\"A documented IAP is required for major emergencies, with required minimum information becoming mandatory within four hours of incident reporting.\"},{\"question\":\"What is included in an Incident Shift Plan (ISP)?\",\"answer\":\"The ISP provides objectives and strategies essential for field operations in SMEACSQ format, covering the next operational shift or a series of shifts within a 24-hour period.\"}]","Incident Action Planning - 03.03 | PDF",1789213309]
