You should use it to write reports for the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service. The template provides the structure to be used as you develop your report. For more information about the design and style, please look at the CLMS Brand Guidelines or ask the communication team at the EEA.\nStyles and numbering\nPredefined Word styles are used in the template for all headings, body text and feature (figures/maps/tables/boxes/photos) captions. These styles set fonts and font sizes. When writing your report, simply replace the existing text with your own text (e.g. chapter titles, headings, subheadings) without altering the predefined styles.\nThe following styles are used in CLMS reports:\nTitle (Arial, 28pt, blue)\nThe report title takes the ‘Title’ style.\nHeadings, sections and sub-sections are styled as follows:\nHeading 1 (Arial, light bold, 20pt, blue)\nThis is used to number for example chapters.\nHeading 2 (Arial, bold, 14pt, blue)\nThis is used to number sections.\nHeading 3 (Arial, bold italic, 12pt, blue)\nThis is used to number sub-sections.\nHeading 4 (Arial, light italic bold, 11pt, blue)\nThis is used for a further level of sub-section. Note, no numbering is used so this level will not appear in the table of contents.\nMain body (Calibri, 11pt, black)\nFootnote (Calibri, 8pt, black)\nTable headers (Arial, bold, 9pt, blue)\nTable text (Calibri, 9pt, black)\nFigure captions (Arial, bold, 9,5pt, blue)\nFigure text, Calibri, the font size can be changed depending on the figure. Rule of thumb: For headings and title 14pt, for general text 9pt. Font colour is black.\nThe Quickstyle gallery, found under the ‘Home’ tab displays all the styles used in this template:\nYou should not need to use this as the styles are pre-set in the template, but to apply a style, just click on it in the Quickstyle gallery. To view a style without applying it, just mouse over that style in the gallery.\nFeatures\nFeatures are boxes, figures, maps, photographs and tables. Features should be numbered sequentially according to where they appear in the report.\nTo number features and add a caption, you should follow the following instructions:\nSelect the object (box, figure, map, photograph, table) that you want to add a caption to.\nOn the References tab, in the Captions group, click Insert Caption.\nIn the Label list, select the label that best describes the object, e.g. figure or map. If the list doesn't provide the label you want, click New Label, type the new label in the Label box, and then click OK.\nType your caption text after the label.\nClick OK.\nNote that the labels and captions are styled as using the ‘Caption’ style.\nLogos\nThere should be only five logos in the document: the EU logo, the Copernicus Programme logo, the European Environment Agency logo, the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service logo and the European Commission logo. No additional logos are allowed to be used.\nEnd of instructions. Delete up to here.\n\u000f\nTitle\nSubtitle (document type)\nDate:\nDoc.
