The applicant is free to apply at our Consulate or at our Embassy in Washington DC and other Consulates in US. While submitting the application on the Government of India website, the applicant will need to select the location where he/she wants the OCI application to be processed.  \nThe Procedure to be followed is:  \n• The applicant visits the Government of India OCI website mentioned above to fill the form and upload picture, signature and other documents, as required.  \n• Once completed form is submitted a New Web Reference number will be generated on the form.  \n• Print the completed form and submit it to Outsourcing Partner, Cox & Kings Global Services (CKGS) through walk-in or postal option. Payment is to be made at the CKGS Centre only. Alternatively, the applicant can also send the physical form and documents by mail and enclose the fee in Postal Money Order or Cashier cheque form.
