In addition to performing all of functions of the Teller, this individual will be responsible for ATM/Pod balancing including monitoring cash levels, vault operations, teller overrides, check approvals, cash orders, conducting branch audits, ensuring team members balance at the end of each business day, and assistance with out of balance incidents.  \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:  \n• Demonstrate a strong commitment to high service standards, operational excellence, and a desire to grow participation in the Credit Union.  \n• Efficiently, effectively, and accurately performs all teller transactions and assigned functions including, but not limited to, processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, corporate drafts, money orders, cash advances, check orders and address changes.  \n• Through the use active listening and probing questions, take a needs-based approach to recommending Credit Union products and services, while promoting the financial wellness of our members.  \n• Maintain excellent knowledge of LOC products and services, policies and procedures maximize crosssell opportunities and to troubleshoot issues.  \n• Manages the branch vault, TCR’s and ATM, including balancing, ordering and maintaining required cash levels.  \n• Enforces and monitors dual control procedures for vault, TCR, ATM, cash drawers/bags, instant issue cards and keys.  \n• Serves as the primary resource for teller staff with transactional questions, check approvals, overridesand procedural guidance.  \n• Assist members with opening and closing of accounts, consumer and Visa loan applications and certificates, answer questions about products and services, ensuring all related forms and documents are completed and scanned by end of business day.  \n• Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.  \n• Assist with problem resolution resulting in minimal member effort and friction.  \n• Effectively communicate team member performance issues to branch leadership.  \n• Follow established policies and procedures of the Credit Union; reliable and dependable to promote member service and satisfaction.  \n• Assist with the training and development of frontline team members including new hires.  \n• Help protect the Credit Union against fraud and other losses. This would include, but is not limited to, identifying counterfeit currency, examining checks presented for negotiation, verifying endorsement, receiving proper identification, and placing check holds when necessary.  \n• Follow all policies and procedures of Bank Secrecy Act,(BSA) Anti-Money Laundering and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) .
