The GRDT, which is available as an Excel file, includes several worksheet tabs. For Bucket 3 submissions, users are required to populate specific tabs highlighted in blue bold text. Other tabs, while part of the template structure, may or may not be applicable to active market resources and should not be deleted. Detailed descriptions for each data element can be found in the GRDT and IRDT Definitions document. An example GRDT template is also provided to aid in the preparation process. The California Independent System Operator (CAISO) will meticulously review the Final GRDT submitted in RIMS, with a particular focus on the mandatory fields. Non-bolded data fields will be assigned default values by CAISO based on the resource type. The GRDT template is designed to accommodate various resource types, meaning many columns may not be relevant for the Final GRDT submission for bucket items. It is crucial not to remove any columns or worksheet tabs from the GRDT file. The accepted Final GRDT will serve as the foundational data for CAISO's setup of the resource and its associated characteristics in the Master File. For the 'Resource' tab, all columns are outlined, but only a select subset of fields are mandatory for this stage, indicated in blue bold text. Fields not bolded will be handled by CAISO with default values or left empty as necessary.
