Georgia Driving Academy (GDA) has provided professional commercial driver training for over 20+ years in the state of Georgia. During these many years, there has been many changes in the trucking industry. The most recent FMCSA Entry Level Training Regulations, will establish minimum standards for training individuals for a commercial driver license and will require all training providers to be registered as an approved school in order for an individual to take a skills test within a state. Other issues coming in the next few years that will impact the commercial driver training industry is: change to hair follicle drug testing, sleep apnea rulings, autonomous truck systems and the trucking industry switch to automatic transmissions. \nIn August 2016 GDA joined the ranks of Education Affiliates (EA) . EA specializes in providing quality training programs that lead to successful employment in high demand careers. As part of EA, Georgia Driving Academy is looking forward to expanding its reach within the state of Georgia and beyond in the coming years. With the approval of our online classroom training, GDA will be able to offer our students the opportunity to meet the training requirements of the classroom phase of training from the comforts oftheir homes; either through the desktop computer, laptop or their smartphone.
