Pam and Kari gave an overview of the purpose of the GFO as a forum for faculty to come together to make recommendations to the Chancellor. For example, the GFO may make recommendations related to part‐time lecturer contracts, diversity issues and concerns which pertain to the mission and learning goals of our campus, professional development, SAF allocation, and faculty awards.  \nWe talked about areas where the GFO and GSO may be able to combine resources and/or partner regarding certain events, and to ensure communication among the various groups on campus. Some examples were:  \n􀁸 Climate surveys amongst staff/faculty  \n􀁸 Wellness workshops for staff/faculty  \n􀁸 Spring /Summer BBQ  \nSpring/Summer BBQ: An opportunity for faculty and staff to come together to learn about the various building/development projects around downtown Bothell and near our campus.
