While this type of program is not inexpensive, Summit provides financial aid in order to allow parents of all economic backgrounds to give their children the very best educational foundation.  \nFINANCIAL AID APPLICATION PROCESS  \nComplete the Family Financial Statement (attached to this document) and submit the following documents by the deadline (February 11, 2022):  \n● A copy of your 2021 Federal 1040 tax forms (2020 forms will be accepted only if 2021 forms have not been filed)  \n● A copy of your 1098 tax form (college tuition statement), if applicable  \n● A copy of K-1 tax form (for business partnerships), if applicable  \n● Copies of two current months of paystubs from all income sources  \nWHAT HAPPENS NEXT  \nOnce we review the completed Financial Aid Application, a recommendation will be made to the school’s Financial Aid Committee based upon the school’s policies and availability of funds. Each year, more families apply for admission to Summit and qualify for financial aid than the budget can accommodate. When this occurs, a student can be accepted for admission and offered a place in the desired class but not offered aid. If you received a financial aid award last year, there is no guarantee of financial aid for the following year.  \nSummit will include information about either the offer or denial of financial aid in a letter (to be distributed on or around March 4, 2022) . Families will have one week to accept or decline their financial aid award. Failure to alert Summit of a family’s intentions to accept or decline financial aid will result in a forfeiture of the award.  \nCONFIDENTIALITY  \nFinancial information is kept confidential and is only viewed by the Financial Aid Committee.  \nINSTRUCTIONS  \n1.
