Due to the growth of the organization to a $3.3 million budget with 26 employees, we now seek a Finance Director to establish and maintain the organization’s financial, accounting and risk management operations.  \nThe Finance Director will provide financial leadership, including planning, development and monitoring of budgets, expenditures, income and cash-flow. This position is responsible for all dayto-day accounting operations and financial reporting, and also handles some aspects of human resources. This is a leadership position within the organization, as the Finance Director will participate in the senior leadership team and contribute sound financial advice, projections and management to steer the organization.  \nRequired qualifications for the Finance Director position include: at least six years’ experience in finance and accounting, with a strong preference of serving in a non-profit setting; a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting with an advanced degree preferred; possession of a Certified Public Accounting certificate is a plus; proven experience with GAAP, grants administration, fund accounting, internal controls and audit activities necessary; proficient with PCs, MS Office and Quickbooks; strong analytical and interpersonal skills; accurate and detail-oriented; ability to work asa team; and past leadership experience preferred.  \nReports to: Deputy Director  \nEmployment and Classification: “At will” employment status; full-time, exempt salaried position  \nSalary Range/Band: Starting annual salary of $70,000 to $80,000/year plus health insurance benefits, paid time off and optional participation in a deferred compensation plan.  \nKey Responsibilities: The Finance Director’s primary responsibilities include: performing day-to-day accounting functions; ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements; producing a range of timely and accurate financial reports; managing employee payroll, benefits and new hire procedures; and serving as part of the organization’s senior leadership team.
