OF REVIEW AND CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN\n40 CFR 146.84(b)\nINSERT PROJECT NAME\nFacility Information\nFacility name: \tINSERT FACILITY NAME \u000bINSERT WELL NUMBER\nWell location: \tINSERT CITY, COUNTY, STATE \u000bINSERT LAT/LONG COORDINATES\nPursuant to 40 CFR 146.84, this plan delineates the Area of Review (AoR) and describes the Corrective Action Plan for wells that require corrective action. Delineation of the AoR is one of the key elements of the Class VI Rule, as it helps ensure that Underground Sources of Drinking Water (USDWs) in the region surrounding the INSERT PROJECT NAME (referred to throughout as “the Project” will not be endangered by the injection activity. This attachment functions are as the approved Area of Review and Corrective Action Plan.\nThe AoR is the region surrounding the Project where USDWs may be endangered by the injection activity. The AoR is delineated using multiphase computational modeling, constructed from a [model name] model that accounts for the site-specific hydrogeology and the physical and chemical properties of all phases of the injected CO2 stream and displaced fluids. The AoR delineation is based on available site characterization, monitoring, and operational data as set forth in 40 CFR 146.84. The methods and approaches for developing this complex multiphase simulation model and delineating the AoR approved for construction, injection, and post-injection site care are detailed below.\nComputational Modeling Approach\nThe method for delineation and modeling approach must comply with 40 CFR 146.84(b) and is described in detail below.\n[Recommendations to meet regulatory requirements:\nSummarize the conceptual and numerical approach used for AoR modeling and delineation with narrative descriptions and supplemental figures and tables to fulfill the requirement at 40 CFR 146.84(b)(1). Data relevant to these sections should be uploaded to the Geologic Sequestration Data Tool (GSDT). The EPA’s GSDT is a centralized web-based system that receives, stores and manages UIC Class VI permit applications and monitoring and reporting data.\nThe summary should include information in all the subsections outlined below. Information should be presented in a way that demonstrates site-specific compliance with the Class VI Rule and thoroughly explains model conceptualization, methodology and implementation in the chosen software package(s).\nNote: Supplemental information such as raw data in a tabular format (e.g., detailed model grid information, porosity, and permeability distributions) should be uploaded directly to the Geologic Sequestration Data Tool (GSDT). Figures and graphics included in the AoR and Corrective Action Plan should be used to supplement narrative descriptions of the modeling approach and results.]\nSite Characterization\nA detailed regional and local geologic evaluation of the area around the Project was conducted using geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and geochemical data obtained from public literature, licensed data, and site-specific data collected for this Project. These data are described in the following sections.\nLocal and Regional Geology\nThis section includes information on the geologic structure and hydrogeologic properties of the proposed storage site and overlying formations, including:\nMaps and cross sections of the AoR (40 CFR 146.82(a)(3)(i));\nThe location, orientation, and properties of known or suspected faults and fractures that may transect the confining zone(s) in the AoR and a determination that they would not interfere with containment (40 CFR 146.82(a)(3)(ii)); [Recommendations to meet regulatory requirements: provide any seismic survey images used to identify and characterize faults, along with a discussion of their interpretation. Any confidential information can be marked and will be treated as such. Additionally, include data for and discuss fault transmissivity testing if any faults are present in the AoR.]\nData on the depth , areal extent, thickness, mineralogy, poros","cbCaihUkkFGVJnJD","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaihUkkFGVJnJD","docx",111927,20,"English","# Area of Review and Corrective Action Plan\n## Computational Modeling Approach\n## Site Characterization\n### Local and Regional Geology","[{\"question\":\"What is the purpose of the Area of Review (AoR) in this plan?\",\"answer\":\"The AoR defines the region surrounding the project where underground sources of drinking water (USDWs) may be endangered by injection activity, supporting containment assurance under the Class VI requirements.\"},{\"question\":\"What modeling approach is required to delineate the AoR?\",\"answer\":\"AoR delineation must use multiphase computational modeling constructed from a site-specific model that accounts for hydrogeology and the physical and chemical properties of all phases of the injected CO2 stream and displaced fluids.\"},{\"question\":\"What site characterization information should be included?\",\"answer\":\"The plan should include regional and local geology and hydrogeologic properties, including maps/cross-sections of the AoR, fault and fracture data, zone depth and properties, geomechanical information, seismic history, and topographic and geologic mapping consistent with the referenced CFR sections.\"}]","Facility Information - Area of Review and Corrective Action Plan | DOCX",7]
