overview of what your exchange through the Asia Term Program could look like.  \nAsia Term takes place in the autumn semester, usually taking up the months between August and December. In comparison to other exchanges, the Asia Term starts quite early with your first mandatory class starting at the beginning of August. An additional special feature about the Asia Term are the few mandatory gatherings in the semester prior to your exchange, including a Kick-off event and a first lecture on Business Development in Asia. This will give you the opportunity to get a preliminary understanding of the Business World in Asia, preparing you for the block course you will have early August. Additionally, you will get the chance to meet some of your future Asia Term colleagues and exchange contacts for any future inquiries.  \nThe Asia Term Program is not limited to any specific degree. It offers an all-rounded and hands-on approach to grasping Asian culture, business prospects and sociopolitical dynamics across the entire continent, appealing to anyone with a keen interest in the region, politics or economics in general.  \nWe understand that gathering all the necessary information for your exchange can feel overwhelming. Should you have any questions, please feel free to write us an e-Mail (see above)!  \n2 Host University  \nWith more than 10‘000 undergraduate students, Singapore Management University (SMU) is located in the very city center of the country. Since the Singapore itself is quite small, you‘ll be able to reach all the important spots within maximum 20-30 minutes. The university is well-connected with its two MRT stations on the premises and multiple bus surrounding the campus.  \nSMU has several faculties, each with their own building, including the School of Accountancy, Lee Kong Chian School of Business, School of Economics, School of Computing and Information Systems, Yong Pung How School of Law, and the School of Social Sciences.
