As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnostic evaluations and medical procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.  \nRESPONSIBILITIES  \n􀁸 The Endoscopy Technician prepares, assembles, and organizes the work environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.  \n􀁸 Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.  \n􀁸 Monitor patients' vital signs and provide appropriate documentation.  \n􀁸 Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures to prevent infection.  \n􀁸 Knowledge of the use and handling of procedure equipment and endoscopy scopes, standard precautions and terminal cleaning of procedure rooms and endo scopes following procedures.  \n􀁸 Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care.  \n􀁸 Provide patient education regarding pre-and post-procedure instructions.  \nSKILLS  \n􀁸 Minimum education: high school graduate or equivalent  \n􀁸 Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School with certification preferred  \n􀁸 One (1) year of on-the-job experience in an endoscopy setting preferred  \n􀁸 Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification  \n􀁸 Proficiency in ER (endoscopy room) setup and operation  \n􀁸 Knowledge of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment  \n􀁸 One (1) year of on-the-job experience in an endoscopy setting preferred  \n􀁸 Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology  \nIf you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for the position of Endoscopy Technician.
