The AAR is crucial for maintaining continuity and serving as a historical record when a woman leaves office, ensuring her experience is not lost. It is mandatory for all PWOC board members. The report can be presented as a timeline, narrative, or outline and must be comprehensive enough for prospective leaders to understand past activities. Key components to include are the position title, a description of duties as officially written and as experienced (including volunteer hours), details of key projects (events, planning, results, recommendations), any problems or stumbling blocks encountered during the year, desired changes, and personal reflections on whether the role would be undertaken again. The submitted AARs are to be given to the board and included in the position notebook for the successor.
