Yes No \nTax Documents \nThere are four types of tax documents that you might receive in connection with education, student loans and 529 plans. \n􀁓 A 1098‐T is a form that you should receive for tuition expenses. If you or your dependent went to a qualified school, 99% of the time a 1098‐T form will be issued. We must get a copy of this form in addition to completing the information below. These forms are not always mailed in our electronic world, so please check your student portal. \n􀁓 A 1098‐E is a form to report student loan interest. While we need the 1098‐T form, you can report student loan interest to us without a corresponding 1098‐E form by completing the information below. \n􀁓 A 1099‐Q is a form similar to a 1099‐R that reports distributions from a qualified education savings accounts (for example, a 529 Plan) . You will get this in two instances; money was taken out for education or money was transferred to another custodian (such as going from Vanguard to Fidelity) . \n􀁓 A Education Savings Account / 529 Plan statement is not necessarily a tax form, but it is needed for us to report and record your contributions. It is not enough to only tell us what you contributed unless you are areturning client (yay!) and the account information has not changed. \nWe need the account or plan provider, address, EIN, account number","cbCaioGhIr8E1gOq","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaioGhIr8E1gOq","pdf",216328,6,"English","# Worksheets Available\n# Contact Info\n# Tax Documents\n## 1098-T, 1098-E, 1099-Q, and ESA/529 Statements\n# Tax Credits and Refundable Credits\n# Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017\n# Tuition Expense (Form 1098-T and 1099-Q, if applicable)","[{\"question\":\"What information must be provided for ESA/529 reporting?\",\"answer\":\"Provide the account or plan provider, address, EIN, account number, and beneficiary at minimum, since some states may require this to claim deductions or credits.\"},{\"question\":\"How do Form 1098-T and 1098-E relate to education and student loans?\",\"answer\":\"Form 1098-T supports tuition expenses, while Form 1098-E reports student loan interest.
