Assure that the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of all educational programs presented on site are aligned with the requirements of program participants and in consideration of the ENC’s mission.  \n2. Develop, prepare, organize and evaluate curricula for all onsite ENC educational programs ensuring appropriate standards and mission are met.  \n3. Teach (or schedule others to teach) all on site educational programs as well as all on site teacher training/professional development.  \n4. In coordination with the Outreach Director, care for-or appropriately delegate the care for-all of the ENC’s captive animals. Assure that the animals have the highest quality of life possible while performing their role as working educational animals.  \n5. Recommend to Executive Director the hiring and dismissal of all on site teaching staff. Facilitate training of new staff on all on site education programs.  \n6. Supervise Staff Naturalists to ensure that curricula are taught according to the requirements of program participants and in consideration of the ENC’s mission.  \n7. Provide peer review of management team, as well as proper performance reviews of teaching staff, both oral and written of overall job performance. Independently perform teaching observations as appropriate.  \n8. Carry out and assist staff in developing appropriate student behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and techniques.  \n9. Provide educational staff with annual training to review updates and changes in education programs.  \n10. Coordinate with Community Relations Director to develop and distribute surveys and evaluations for review of programs.  \n11. Identify and analyze competition in terms of pricing, services, and industry trends, and report findings to Executive Director.  \n12. Assist in the development of monthly and annual reports.  \n13. Act as Summer Camp Director.  \n14. Provide Enrichment and Summer Nature Camp Teacher Training before each camp.  \n15. Assist Community Relations Director in the promotion of the ENC’s school programs, Nature Camp and enrichment/community programs through phone calls, postal mail, email, etc.  \n16. Assist the Community Relations Director in the interviewing, training and supervision of Leaders in Training.  \n17. Assist the Community Relations Director in pursuing grants related to on site educational programs.  \n18. Provide supervision of students at all times during the duration of classes and programs, extending to the release of students to guardians. Maintain the highest possible degree of safety.  \n19. Enter new school and community programs into the databases and send school and community program confirmation/invoice emails weekly.  \n20. Invoice schools that do not pay before or on the date of their field trip.  \n21. Make weekly reminder calls to school and scout program participants and reminder calls and e-mails to public program and volunteer event participants.  \n22. Prepare and distribute monthly and weekly staff schedules.  \n23. Collect and review staff time cards before providing them to the Facility Manager.  \n24.
