The files you need are located: \nJ:\\Customers Files\\D\\DocketManager\\Templates\\MOSH_Tutorial \n2. Open the Corel File. If you need to install the fonts on your system in order to open the file properly, do so and reopen the Corel file. \n3. Making the Tracing PDF: \nThis business card has bleed so the page size needs to be adjusted to incorporate that. Change the page size to 3.75 x 2.25 \n4. Obtain all fonts used in design (you don’t need to do this step for this tutorial because they are already in the folder, but this does need to be done for each versioned template created): Collect for Output > include CDR file > save to folder \n5. File > Publish to PDF > to the end of the file name, include with word Trace so we know this is the original file > PDF preset: PDF for NexPress NO BLEED \n6. Log in to DocketManager > Maintenance > Online Ordering > Edit Online Templates \n7. Under the Create Template heading (to the right) give this new template a descriptive name: eg. MOSH_BusCard > Create \n8. You’re taken to the Assets page next. Here you’re going to upload the font files you saved > under the fonts heading > select all fonts used on the [card. you](card. you) can upload 4 at a time. \n9. Navigate to where you saved the “Trace” PDF and open in Acrobat. \n10. Set trim and bleed settings. Select the Crop tool > double click anywhere on the card > select TrimBox from the dropdown menu and change all 4 (Top, Bottom, Left and Right) to .125 in > OK > Save \n11. Drawing Field Boxes: \nSelect the Text Field Tool > draw one large box over the 3 areas of “Employee Name”,“Credentials” and “Employee Title”. Make sure you don’t make the box too long, we don’t want it to extend off the business card. This will be a Master Field so it needs a descriptive name of the fields that will populate it eg.“nameCredTitle” – always begin the naming with lowercase letters and then a capital for the beginning of new words. No spaces > Close. The size of the box drawn can be adjusted with the handles by hovering over it, clicking and dragging. \n12. Continue to create Master Fields – the reason we’re creating large boxes and not small ones for each field is because we want the fields that populate these master fields to “talk” or “work with”each other. If an employee doesn’t enter in a title, the Employee Name will centre itself in the field (which we will format later) so that there isn’t a big gap between the Name and the rest of the information below. \n13. Creating Placeholder Fields: \nPlaceholder fields are the fields that the customer will see, fill out and have populate the Master Fields. They can be drawn anywhere on the card because they will be invisible, and their information will fill in the Master Fields. Create a ph field for each field that is to show up in the Master [field. Eg. in](field. Eg. in) the Master Field “nameCredTitle” you’ll need “phName”,“phCredentials”, and“phTitle” – always place a “ph” before a placeholder field to identify it as a placeholder. \n14. Upload Master PDF: \nGo to the DocketManager, Edit Online Templates window where you just uploaded all the fonts > Under Master PDF, select the file we just drew the boxes in and “Upload Master” \n15. Template Info: \nBleed-This business card has bleed, change Bleed from 0.00 to 9 Points (or .125 Inches) Identifying Field – whatever you select from this drop down will be added to the Job Description in the DocketManager Order Item screen to identify what version this item is. Eg. usually select“Name” or “phName”. The Employee’s Name will be added to the Job Description in the \nDocketManager > Save \n16. Field Setup: \nSet the order of the fields in which your customer will view and fill out information. You can click and drag these fields to change their order. For organization purposes, keep Master Fields above the Placeholder Fields that populate them > Commit Changes \n17. Editing/Formatting Fields: \na.
