Relationship violence is a common problem for young people today . While providers may be familiar with some forms of power and control including verbal, emotional, and physical abuse, many adults are less familiar with the ways technology and social media can be used as tools of power and control in dating situations .  \nThis webinar will start by exploring the most common  \nways that technology and social media can be used in abusive situations and end with practical strategies  \n2  \nthat providers and other adults can use to identify warning signs of digital dating abuse and have critical coverings with youth experiencing and perpetrating this type of abuse .  \nThe school-based health alliance works to improve the health of children and youth by advancing and advocating for school-based health care .  \nWe believe that all children and adolescents deserve to thrive but too many struggle because they lack access to health care services . School-based healthcare is the solution . Bringing health care to where students already spend the majority of their time, in school. When health and education come together, great things happen . Attendance improves, conditions like asthma and diabetes are better managed, and behavioral health issues get quick expert attention .
