This enabled us to meet our goals of expanding and innovating the place of theological education for our current and future students, while informing our colleagues in ATS and the field at large. Herein is our final report. \nProject Title: Drew Open Doors: Innovating the Place of Theological Education Abstract: \nDrew Theological School is engaged in a curriculum transformation, supported by the Jessie Ball duPont Fund, which capitalizes on our strengths to address the shifts in our student body as well as the realities of our 21st century cultural and theological landscape. The ATS Innovation Grant of $49,500 enabled us to create Drew Open Doors, a digital and real-world network of locations where Drew students and faculty gather, live, work, study, worship, create, and engage the world. Maximizing our metropolitan New York location, and partnering with churches andinstitutions that share our mission, this network assumes what Drew faculty and students already know: that theological education happens between and among diverse learners. We seek to address creatively students’ financial, vocational, and geographic realities while fulfilling our University’s pedagogical and missional commitment to learning together, among diverse learners, for the world’s good. The outcomes will provide ATS schools with fresh insights regarding the value of multi-contextual theological education. \nWhat were the primary goals of your innovation grant project? \nThe ATS Innovation Grant provided seed money for our efforts to increase access to education at Drew Theological School in ways other than taking a degree online. Our Drew Open Doors project aimed to build the digital and physical infrastructure needed to remake Drew Theological School as a regional network of learning sites, increasing access for a variety of students through multiple portals and places while preserving the diverse community learning experience that is a hallmark of a Drew education. Our aim was to build multidirectional real-world pathways into diverse learning communities, reframing Seminary Hall as a virtual and physical hub that leads both in and out toward learning together for the world’s good. \nThe project had three primary goals: \n● Create a network of and for affordable housing options for students, particularly for commuters needing to be on campus 2-3 days per week for class attendance. \n● Develop spaces that allow students and alums to create affinity groups sharing vocational interests and potentially fostering regional alumni associations around shared projects and goals. We also seek to connect students with alums and other professional networks via a digital platform that allows sharing of resources, i.e. professional opportunities, student employment, mentoring, etc. \n● Build an online portal where Drew learning happens. This portal allows both degree/non-degree students tojoin a Drew course or learning event. \nHow well did the project attain those goals? \nThe project met its three primary goals. The ATS grant contributed significantly to the conceptualization and implementation of the following three new infrastructure elements at Drew that facilitate connection and community among students, faculty, alums, and community partners: \nPlaces4Students and TheoNeighbors \nAs a result of extensive conversations with offices across the campus, Drew University has now [partnered with](partnered with Places4Students.com)[ ](partnered with Places4Students.com)[Places4Students.com](partnered with Places4Students.com), a company that specializes in providing listings for \noff-campus student housing in the ","cbCaif8E7y0XiLgZ","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaif8E7y0XiLgZ","pdf",449253,9,"English","# Project Title and Abstract\n## Grant Purpose and Vision\n## Primary Goals of the Innovation Grant\n## Goal Attainment and Outcomes\n## New Infrastructure Elements","[{\"question\":\"What was the primary purpose of the ATS Innovation Grant for Drew Theological School?\",\"answer\":\"The grant provided seed funding to expand access to theological education in non-online-degree ways and to build both digital and physical infrastructure for a regional network of learning sites.\"},{\"question\":\"What is Drew Open Doors and what does it include?\",\"answer\":\"Drew Open Doors is a digital and real-world network of locations where Drew students and faculty gather, live, work, study, worship, create, and engage the world through multiple portals and learning places.\"},{\"question\":\"Which new infrastructure elements did the project implement to support community and connection?\",\"answer\":\"The project contributed to implementing Places4Students and TheoNeighbors, as well as Drew LaunchPad and Affinity Communities, providing housing support and online hubs for networking, resources, and affinity groups.\"}]","Drew Open Doors - Theological Education Innovation Grant Project Final Report - January 2020 | PDF",1789566145,{"code":4,"msg":82,"data":99},[100,103,107,112,117,122,127,132,137],{"id":86,"doc_module":22,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":29,"show_sort_weight":101,"slug":102},90,"presentations",{"id":55,"doc_module":22,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":104,"show_sort_weight":105,"slug":106},"Resumes",80,"resumes",{"id":108,"doc_module":22,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":109,"show_sort_weight":110,"slug":111},14,"Invoices",70,"invoices",{"id":113,"doc_module":22,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":114,"show_sort_weight":115,"slug":116},15,"Posters",60,"posters",{"id":118,"doc_module":22,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":119,"show_sort_weight":120,"slug":121},16,"Social Media",50,"social-media",{"id":123,"doc_module":22,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":124,"show_sort_weight":125,"slug":126},17,"Forms",40,"forms",{"id":128,"doc_module":22,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":129,"show_sort_weight":130,"slug":131},18,"Letters",30,"letters",{"id":133,"doc_module":22,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":134,"show_sort_weight":135,"slug":136},21,"Paper Templates",5,"papers-templates",{"id":138,"doc_module":22,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":139,"show_sort_weight":4,"slug":140},158,"General","general-158"]
