Background  \nIn pursuance of the Office Memorandum No. SY-13017/III/2025-SBR dated 9th October 2025 issued by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW), the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) was entrusted with the task of constituting three committees for formulation of guidelines under the Shipbuilding Development Scheme (SBDS) and the Shipbuilding Financial Assistance Scheme (SBFAS) .  \nAccordingly, three committees were constituted:  \n1.
