CALL TO ORDER  \nThere being a quorum present, and adequate and proper notice of the meeting having been given, the meeting was called to order at 7:00 p. m.  \n2. PUBLIC COMMENTS  \nMarti Sladek , former Trustee, thanked the Board and DGPL staff for her time as a Trustee and noted the connections she made with the community. She also thanked community members for attending and participating in Board meetings. She asked the Board to reach out to her if they need her assistance.  \nThere were no further public comments.  \n6. TRUSTEE COMMENTS  \nBarnali Khuntia provided a brief overview of her role on the Ad Hoc Committee , thanked the Board for assigning her to the committee, and thanked DGPL staff for their diligence and hard work. She noted that community members attended committee meetings and she recognized the Board and library for their great work.  \nNathan Williams noted that he did not have many comments as summer was coming to an end. He also asked attendees to look at the Discoveries newsletter as he was featured in it.  \nNathan Williams presented the Ad Hoc Committee report , reiterating that he was honored to collaborate with Trustee Khuntia on the committee. He noted the committee’s usefulness and thanked committee members for everyone’s work on the written report included in the Board packet. He highlighted the report , noting there did not appear to be a reason for instituting a governance change at this time.
