Ultimately, the expectations fora top-notch Kennel Care Taker will be able to tailor their care according to animals' physical, emotional, and behavioral needs.  \nHours are Part-Time (hours may vary on number of boarders and no benefits) . Initially looking for M-F 7 pm to 9 pm and Sunday 630-9 pm. Applicant will be required to undergo interview and background check process. Starting wage is $9.50, potential increase after 45 days.  \nDuties and Responsibilities  \n• Accompanying animals to and from the kennels for final Crib nighttime service  \n• Ensuring that the animals are fed as necessary and have water at all times  \n• Administering medications as necessary  \n• Ensure that all kennels are clean and maintained, keeping them free of waste, spilled food, fur/hair, other debris and other unsanitary or hazardous materials  \n• Ensure animals have clean dishes at all times  \n• Immediately picking up waste and sanitizing after each dog in Crib yard  \n• Give dogs baths as necessary  \n• Keep records of feeding/Crib services for each animal  \n• Perform daily Crib cleaning  \n• Report significant changes in functioning of animal to Owner as soon as noticed  \n• Adjust Crib air temperature to ensure that all animals remain comfortable  \n• Performs other duties as assigned or requested  \nRequirements and Qualifications  \n• 18 years old and have High school diploma or GED required  \n• 1-2 years prior experience caring for animals at a dog daycare facility, shelter, or in personal animal care strongly preferred  \n• Familiarity with various dog breeds preferred  \n• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills  \n• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills  \n• Physically fit and agile. Must be able to maintain physical stamina for caring for animals, cleaning and maintaining kennels (inside and outside) including lifting up to 50 pounds  \n• A passion for animal welfare  \n• Available to work during evenings, and on weekends and holidays required  \n• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision  \n• Must know when to escalate concerns about animal to Owner  \n• Must have reliable transportation.
