Guidelines outline the purpose, logistics, and requirements of student scholarly projects. They supplement but do not replace the Winona State University (WSU) Department of Graduate Nursing Student Handbook. All policies and procedures outlined in the Graduate Nursing Student Handbook apply to the DNP Project. \nThe DNP Project is completed in a series of three courses (NURS 780, NURS 781, and NURS 782) . In addition to the activities outlined in these DNP Project Guidelines, students must complete all required assignments and learning activities indicated in the outline, syllabus, and website for each course. \nDNP Project Purpose and Overview \nThe WSU DNP program integrates content in planning, implementing, and evaluating practice change throughout the curriculum. By successfully completing the DNP Project, students demonstrate competency in this curricular content and fulfill the WSU requirement for all graduate degree programs to contain a capstone writing experience. \nThe DNP Project also showcases student mastery of The Essentials: Core Competencies for Professional Nursing Education (AACN, 2021): \n\n| I. | Knowledge for Nursing Practice |\n| --- | --- |\n| II. | Person-Centered Care |\n| III. | Population Health |\n| IV. | Scholarship for Nursing Practice |\n| V. | Quality and Safety |\n| VI. | Interprofessional Partnerships |\n| VII. | Systems-Based Practice |\n| VIII. | Informatics and Healthcare Technologies |\n| IX. | Professionalism |\n| X. | Personal, Professional and Leadership Development |\n\nThe American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) (2021) explains that the DNP project is“a scholarly work that aims to improve clinical practice” and,“therefore, is required of students compl","cbCaivoww6bbScrb","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaivoww6bbScrb","pdf",318627,"English","# Introduction\n## DNP Project Purpose and Overview\n## DNP Project Team\n## DNP Project Coursework\n## Registration and Clinical Progression\n## Clinical Site\n## Clinical Requirements\n## Clinical Hours\n## The DNP Proposal\n## DNP Project Proposal Template Outline\n## DNP Project Proposal Presentations\n## Human Subjects Considerations\n## DNP Project Manuscript\n## DNP Project Dissemination Meeting\n## Project Completion\n## References","[{\"question\":\"What is the purpose of the DNP Project Guidelines?\",\"answer\":\"The guidelines describe the purpose, logistics, and requirements for student scholarly DNP projects and clarify how related program policies apply.\"},{\"question\":\"How is the DNP Project completed within the DNP program?\",\"answer\":\"The DNP Project is completed through a sequence of three courses (NURS 780, NURS 781, and NURS 782) and requires completion of all course assignments and learning activities.\"},{\"question\":\"What are the key components of the DNP Project?\",\"answer\":\"Key components include identifying a problem, systematically reviewing and synthesizing evidence, translating evidence into strategies, designing and implementing a plan, evaluating outcomes and/or experiences, and disseminating the project.\"}]","Doctor of Nursing Practice Project Guidelines | PDF",1789235148]
