The data and information gathered will profoundly shape the content of Minnesota’s digital equity plan and play a significant role in determining the state’s future strategies to advance digital inclusion. \nFor the purposes of this work, the Office of Broadband Development (OBD) is defining digital inclusion as the condition in which all Minnesotans have the option and opportunity to adopt and use technology – including internet access – in ways that enhance their daily lives. According to the National Digital Inclusion Alliance, digital inclusion includes five components: \n1. Affordable, robust, consistent broadband internet service \n2. Internet-enabled devices that meet the needs of the user \n3. Access to digital skills training \n4. Quality technical support \n5. Applications and online content \nThis document provides instructions and guides for compiling asset inventories, conducting surveys, convening focus groups, and holding 1:1 conversations. In general, DCCs are welcome to pick and choose which of these methods they use, which of the example questions they use, etc. We want the data you gather to be meaningful for you, and we want your method of informatio","cbCaivPB1Gg0fpc6","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaivPB1Gg0fpc6","pdf",295682,6,19,"English","# Introduction\n## Purpose of this Document\n# Instructions for Submitting Data to OBD\n## A Quick Note About Trust\n## Reminder for Mini-Grant Recipients\n# Asset Inventory Guide\n## What is an Asset Inventory?\n## Instructions for Compiling an Asset Inventory\n## A Note on Completion\n# Survey Guide\n## Instructions for Conducting Surveys\n## Example Survey Questions\n# Focus Group Guide\n## Instructions for Conducting a Focus Group\n## Example Focus Group Questions\n# 1:1 Conversation Guide\n## Instructions for Conducting a 1:1 Conversation\n## Example 1:1 Conversation Questions","[{\"question\":\"What is the purpose of the Digital Connection Committees instructions?\",\"answer\":\"The document supports DCCs in gathering and sharing data about digital inclusion assets, needs, and goals so it can shape Minnesota’s digital equity plan and future strategies.\"},{\"question\":\"How is digital inclusion defined in this document?\",\"answer\":\"Digital inclusion is defined as the condition where all Minnesotans can adopt and use technology in ways that enhance daily lives, including internet access and five components such as affordable broadband, suitable devices, skills training, technical support, and applications/online content.\"},{\"question\":\"What are the main requirements for submitting data to OBD?\",\"answer\":\"Data is submitted through an online form that accepts many file types, with a maximum of one file per submission and up to 10MB per file.
