Page 1 of 4 |\n\nDietary Aide-Job Description  \nv Carries out garbage and compost and keeps the work area clean, dry and free of hazards.  \nv Sets up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc. , as instructed in a timely manner according to meal service times.  \nv Collects and distributes menus as instructed.  \nv Assists in checking dietary trays before distribution and delivering food carts to designated areas.  \nv Stocks supplies in employee breakroom and kitchenette every shift.  \nv Removes food carts, food trays from dining rooms to dishwashing area for cleaning.  \nv Obtains food and supplies from storage areas, including basement.  \nv Completes daily sanitation checklist and documents completion.  \nAdditional Tasks  \nv Treats all residents with dignity and respect. Promotes and protects all residents’ rights.  \nv Establishes a culture of compliance by adhering to all facility policies and procedures. Complies with standards of business conduct, and state/federal regulations and guidelines.  \nv Follows appropriate safety and hygiene measures at all times to protect residents and themselves.  \nv Maintains confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written, and electronic communications.  \nv Reports noncompliance with policies, procedures, regulations, or breaches in confidentiality to appropriate personnel.
