duties as assigned.  \nA Day in the Life of This Position:  \nThe Diesel Mechanic in the Plant Services department will be responsible for performing regular maintenance and repair of all university-owned groundskeeping and construction equipment. The day-to-day tasks will vary considerably and encompass keeping a large fleet of groundskeeping equipment up and running. Daily tasks include the maintenance and repair of utility vehicles such as John Deere Gators and Kubota RTVs, compact utility tractors and construction equipment, material handling equipment, small engines, and street sweeping equipment. Other tasks include welding/metal fabrication and occasional equipment operation.
