It specifies key components such as full name and relevant contact information, licensure status when appropriate, and clearly presented educational background with certifications and completion dates. It also explains how to structure experience by most recent date, provide topic-linked evidence (including training, research, and leadership), and avoid common pitfalls. For example, consider having your program planning committees develop a CV template for instructors who you think will need this level of support. Many individuals have different CVs for different purposes, so you may need to work with instructors to develop their “CE instructor CV.” \nIt also can be very helpful to work with instructors to include a brief paragraph or two at the top of their CV that pulls together their expertise that may not be easily interpreted or understood via the CV that they provide to you. This information can also be input to the ‘Instructor’ section of the online application. \nFinal notes: Please ensure that CVs have been proofread before submission. Avoid common format errors/issues (e.g., typos, changing fonts/styles) . Further, please spell out acronyms on your CV, as the reader may not be familiar with the institution, therapy, consortium, etc. An example CV can be found on APA’s website here.","cbCaitvPiA8PkFdC","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaitvPiA8PkFdC","pdf",152074,7,"English","# What to include in a CV to establish expertise\n## Required identity and contact details\n## Educational background, certifications, and trainings\n## Evidence of relevant established expertise\n# How to proceed when the CV does not fit the guidance\n## Provide instructor support and templates\n## Add a concise expertise summary\n## Final submission and formatting notes","[{\"question\":\"What core components should be included at the top of a CV?\",\"answer\":\"Include the full name and relevant professional/contact details, along with appropriate licensure status.
