I am grateful for the opportunity, but more importantly, I am grateful for the patience and love this community has demonstrated to me as I have continued to grow in this role. \nI recently had breakfast with an executive director of a non-profit organization in Nashville. We talked about many things. I asked him about his faith life and how he sustains and nurtures his relationship with God. His answer was profound and to the point. He said,“I continue to show up and look for God.” He is right. \nIt has been my experience, especially in faith and relationships, I find what I am looking for. I wish I could say, I have always shown up as a school principal and looked for the incredible experience of God. However, when I arrive at school ready to see the amazing things God has planned on this campus, I am \nnever disappointed. In fact, I think God has sometimes outdone himself. When I look to scripture, so many times God has asked the prophets to show up. He has encouraged them by reassuring of his love and the work/ministry that will be done through them. \nWithin the last eight years, there have been so many beautiful times I have witnessed the glory of God. There are too many examples to list, and I fear in beginning a list I would omit something important. It has been the greatest honor of my life to lead Saint Matthew School. It is a school that is ebullient and joyful. \nYours in Christ, \nTim Forbes \n@stmatthewschooltn \n[www.youtube.com/channel/UC8YAvwaoSFTcozQuNsWFJwQ/videos](www.youtube.com/channel/UC8YAvwaoSFTcozQuNsWFJwQ/videos) \nCORDE LEONIS VOLUME 5, ISSUE 2 \nPASTOR \nFr.
